Sounds like a snobbish rant; “I am too educated to find a job to suit me in this poor, poor country!” Now that we have that out of the way, I am being rational when I say this.
One of the most important things which students in this country need to realize is the curse of being overqualified. This is now getting common in Pakistan. Students are going for higher qualifications like CFA, CAIA or FRM without realizing that these certifications are worthless without practical experience. Once you become over qualified, chances of getting hired get lower since a company cannot hire you at lower level due to your qualification and you lack the experience for higher positions. The pain is real.
Please don’t do this to yourself. I have five examples in front of me where the same thing happened. Some brilliant guys did not get the jobs because they were over qualified.
