Can you really explain to a fish what it’s like to walk on land?

It doesn’t matter where you study or what you study, you can never understand your work unless you practice it. I still remember the void I used to feel while taking lectures during my professional studies. Despite getting good scores in the exams, at heart I always knew that I just don’t know anything. And now that I am working as a full time professional, I can understand this quote of Warren Buffet, ‘Can you really explain to a fish what it’s like to walk on the land?’. I am sure that every professional around me, in every field of life is convinced that bookish knowledge only contributes around 10% to your professional grooming. Rest of it is earned through hand-on experience. And that means, most of your efforts should be directed in that direction.
